Framework Manager
 
I am currently recruiting for a Framework Manager to join a busy client in the North East.
 
The Framework Manager will act in a commercial capacity to help deliver highways projects through the most cost-effective route possible. You will be tasked to analyse a brief from client colleagues and put it through a framework assessment tool to identify the most appropriate framework to deliver or design the works. The role will be remote working and all IT is provided.
 
 
The main duties of the Framework Manager will be:
·Packaging work to release to the procurement process.
·Working with potential contract providers to achieve the most cost-effective delivery of packaged projects.
·Assessing different procurement routes to determine the most appropriate for the work at hand.
·Liaising with the private sector and managing the overall procurement process.  
·Working closely with the procurement team to ensure the above procedure runs seamlessly.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
·A background in the Highways sector.
·Extensive public sector experience.
·Experience delivering multiple complex projects a once.  
·Previous involvement with NEC 4 contracts.
·Experience working with different contractors.
·An array of experience with different procurement mechanisms.
 
 
Please not this role does not entail any design work or physical managing of the projects.
