An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Flood Risk Consultant to join our client's expanding team based in London. After numerous client wins 2020 has been a great year with 2021 projected to be a year of significant growth!
 
As the successful Engineer you will be working on a range of schemes within the industry, in an award winning team of Flood Risk and Water Engineering professionals enabling you to advance your career and develop your skill set.

The position itself will include, but not be limited to:
·Project Management of small project and budget control
·Production of Flood Risk assessment and have a reasonable understanding of National Planning Policy Framework and associated guidance
·Delivery of flood risk and drainage strategies, feasibility studies and detailed design, ensuring efficient delivery within prescribed budget and programme constraints
·Produce Micro Drainage XP for designing SUDS for input into surface water drainage strategies, Knowledge of MD suds is advantageous
 
Our ideal candidate will have but not limited to:
·Knowledge of Modelling software such as Hec RAS, Info works, XPSwmm,(at least one of the software will be advantageous)
·Knowledge of FEH Hand book and Rainfall runoff calculation is advantageous
·Good working knowledge of AutoCAD,Civils 3D etc.,
·2 - 3 years minimum of experience in a similar position
·Should be able to manage his/her own work load and will be able to support others
·A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
·Adept at writing technical reports
