£400-450p/d Umbrella Rate (Inside IR35)
9 Months Initially (with view for extension)
What will you do?
The role of Fire Safety Lead is to act as one of the 'competent persons' for fire safety and provide competent advice and guidance to the Council Management, specifically the responsible person, to meet its legal duties as set out in the Regulatory Reform [Fire Safety] Order 2005. The post holder will develop and promote a positive fire safety culture within the Council with reference to its Housing Stock.
To assist the Head of Neighbourhood and Assets to deliver the overall operational objectives of fire safety; contribute to the strategic development of the service to maximize opportunities for enhanced service provision and delivery; and ensure the delivery of professional, customer focussed, statutorily complaint and high performing services.
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
·NEBOSH General Certificate held.
·At least 6 years' experience of property related compliance management within a large complex organisation.
·High level of experience of contributing towards formulation, implementation, and delivery of investment programmes.
