Are you a skilled Fire Contracts Manager seeking a rewarding opportunity to contribute to community safety? The London Borough o is currently hiring for the role of Fire Contracts Manager, offering a competitive hourly rate of £53.


Key Responsibilities:
1.Programme Delivery: Lead the execution of a dynamic and ongoing programme of Fire Safety Works as directed.
2.Efficient Delivery: Ensure contracts and works are delivered promptly, cost-effectively, and in compliance with quality standards, statutory regulations, and health & safety requirements. Maintain high levels of customer and client satisfaction.
3.Collaborative Approach: Work seamlessly with colleagues to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
4.Adherence to Standards: Ensure all project activities align with organizational standards and legislative requirements.
5.Supervision and Team Support: Provide necessary supervision, fostering teamwork, and supporting staff to maintain high standards of work.
6.Contract Management: Undertake comprehensive contract management of Fire Safety Works projects, taking corrective action as needed, and regularly reporting on program progress.
7.Lead Officer Role: Assume the lead officer role, following the LBL contract management framework. Conduct monthly meetings with external contractors to monitor performance.
8.Communication Excellence: Maintain exceptional communication and consultation standards with residents and resident groups throughout the project lifecycle.
9.Budget Management: Ensure work is carried out within allocated budgets, closely monitoring and reporting on performance to achieve optimal value for money.


Qualifications and Experience:
·Proven experience in Fire Safety Management.
·Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
·Ability to lead and inspire a team.
·Relevant qualifications in fire safety or a related field.
