My client is a large utilities contractor with a great reputation in the water industry. They have an excellent reputation as one of the highest performing water utilities contractors in the UK and offer excellent opportunities to build a career in the water utilities sector.
 
They are currently looking for field technicians working in South London to conduct full asset survey and inspection over the water network.  This is a great opportunity to gain experience with one of the UKs leading environmental consultancies.
 
The role consists of identifying water leaks underground using above ground tracing and sounding techniques. You will be provided with a company vehicle and training. The ideal candidate will have local road knowledge and be prepared to learn new skills.
 
What you'll be doing  
·Conduct Full Minimum Standard Surveys across key areas of the network to identify Upstream / Trunk Main losses
· Utilise equipment to pinpoint leak location and promotion of repairs
·Attend and support maintenance teams as and when required
·Using our bespoke unique '5 Step Process' - location, inspection, and asset survey of the water network
 
Who we're looking for
 
·2 years water network experience (desired)
·Competent technician with experience in the use of trunk main correlators
·Be able to demonstrable experience working in a similar role
·Fully competent in utility tracing, noise logging and asset surveying
·EUSR water hygiene card (required)
·NRSWA Unit 2 accreditation (required)
·Full UK Driving Licence (required)
·Confined Spaces - Medium Risk (desired)
