My Client are planning a major fibre-to-the home build across the East of England, connecting thousands of homes to next generation full fibre infrastructure. My client are looking for an experienced Design Manager within the Fibre network with management experience. This is an exciting time to be joining a growing company with a big future.
 
 
Responsibilities:
·You will take responsibility of the planning and design policies that support the network build.
·You will take responsibility of the design and creation of high-level network solutions from start to finish
·You will be working with external contractors on the design and creation of the low-level solutions.
·You will work closely with the Director of delivery and operations ensuring you take responsibility for the network build.
·Line management within the Design team
 
 
What you will need:
·Ability of designing networks on a GIS system
·CMD experience is essential
·Experience in managing deadlines
·Experience of working in a telecommunications infrastructure build environment
·Third party contractor management would be desirable
·Will be able to work independently and as part of a team
·Technical experience for network technology i.e. WDM, fibre
·Full UK driving licence
 
This role can be office or on a working from home basis.
