Estates Surveyor / Income Recovery

Are you an experienced Estates professional fed up with short term contracts?
If so, this 12 month local authority contract could be a great opportunity to consider.
 
Who will you be joining?
As with most property landlords and owners over the last 12 months this Local Authority have lost significant income due the pandemic whether that be unpaid services charges or rents. They are now looking to recover these costs from their commercial portfolio and need an experienced Surveyor to join them for a long-term role.  
 
What will you do?
You will be trusted to support the estates function of this authority with your own case loads to assist in the recovery of all income due to the council including:
·Rent collection,
·Management and recovery of service charges,
·Insurance and planned maintenance expenditure,
·Co-ordination of tenant liaison and monitoring of payment plans
·To manage all aspects of the various insolvency processes
·Commissioning, monitoring and managing insurance arrangements across the portfolio
 
What do you need?
 
To be successful in your application for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following through your application and the single stage interview process:
 
-    Degree level qualification in surveying
-    Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
-    Have extensive Landlord and Tenant matters experience
-    The ability to negotiate complex estates issues.
-    Ideally Local Authority or government experience
 
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF BOTH INCOME RECOVERY & COMMERCIAL PORTFOLIOS
