Are you an Environment and Sustainability Advisor with experience working on rail projects?

Do you want to work for a Tier 1 contractor?

Due to exceptional growth, my client is looking to add an Environment and Sustainability Advisor to their team to work on a number of projects around the UK.

Your responsibilities as an Environment and Sustainability Advisor will include:

  • Oversee Sustainability and Environment activities on behalf of the Head of HSQE
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, client standards and local authority requirements.
  • Providing advice on the maintenance of E&S management systems
  • Ensuring that H&S standards are adhered to and monitored through audits and inspections.
  • Producing and reviewing environmental risk assessments
  • Attending internal and external E&S meetings
  • Developing and delivering training
  • Conducting risk assessments

Location: Rugby + hybrid working

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum DOE

Requirements:

  • Environmental or Sustainability Diploma, Degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience working with Environmental Management Systems
  • Environmental/Sustainability qualifications such as IEMA (or working towards)
  • NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate (preferred)
  • Rail experience preferred
  • PTS preferred
  • Valid UK driving license
