Location: Will be covering the Eiffage Kier section - will need to be mobile route wide from M25 to Wolverhampton
 
Job Role:
This role is a lead engineering manager whose role will be to execute legal and contractual technical duties on project engineering issues within the Integrated Project Team (IPT), managing the technical team and supporting the Head of Engineering and Environment, leading risk based assurance of asset design and construction, assuring that it is in accordance with HS2's technical requirements, standards and policies, in a timely and cost efficient manner.
 
The responsibilities of Principal Design Representative for HS2 in CDM (Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and the NEC3 (New Engineering Contract) Supervisor for the contract may be delegated to this role as required across a section of the route.
This is a leadership role and will be managing at least 6 senior project engineers, in this role you will be the deputy to the overall engineering lead. This role has future potential for you to become and engineering lead for HS2.
 
Requirements:
Ideally a chartered engineer
Experience in multi disciplinary standards on large complex projects
Previous experience working for a client side organisation
CDM experience
Proven experience in a leadership role
