Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with HV utility diversion experience on major infrastructure projects?
 
Do you have experience working alongside/with Statutory Undertakers such as UKPN?
 
Location: Nationwide (Hybrid Working)
Contract length: 6 Months (Extensions Likely)
Rate: £400 - £450 Per Day Inside IR35 (Paid Umbrella)
 
Role Details:
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a major consultancy who are one of the HS2 main design JV's.
 
They are working on the HS2 tunnels and undertaking all of the utility diversions, they are after an electrical design engineer with previous utilities experience to join their team.
 
This will involve Experience with thermal and pulling calculations for HV up to 33kV, DNO substation designs, underground cable designs up to 33kv, and earthing designs for substations.
 
Essential:
·Prior experience operating as an electrical design engineer undertaking HV utility diversions on large infrastructure projects.
·Prior experience working alongside/with Statutory Undertakers.
·Experience using ETAP or Amtech software.
·Experience with HV up to 33KV, such as DNO substation designs, underground cable designs up to 33kv, and earthing designs for substations.
·Experience with thermal and pulling calculations for HV up to 33kV
·Scheme Design experience
 
Preferred:
·Prior experience working on rail infrastructure.
