A leading nuclear defence company is looking to bring on board an electrical design engineer to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK nuclear defence sector.

• Job Title -Electrical Design Engineer
• Location - Reading
• Contract length - 18 Months
• Pay Rates - £51.31 hour (OUTSIDE IR35)

This role will be fantastic for an electrically biased design engineer who is coming from a heavily regulated industry and is okay with the complexity of a role in the nuclear/defence sector.

Minimum requirements/experiences:

• Power distribution Designs
• Large PP&E earthing strategies
• Full understanding of the electrical design documentation such as schematics, BCDs and cable schedules
• A prior experience integrating with multi-discipline teams
• A decent configuration control understanding
• An installation and construction background and experience
• Past time spent working with key stakeholders and managing those relationships
