Senior Design Engineer

As the Senior Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing highway improvement schemes for a busy County Council.
 
To be successful you will have:
 
A good working knowledge of the CDM regulations and ability to ensure that the responsibilities and obligations are met, including acting as main point of contact for Principal Designer, when Duty held by the organisation.                     
Proven track record in understanding, meeting and exceeding customer and stakeholder expectations, including the provision of sound professional and technical advice including guidance on legislation, as well as the ability to promote best practice.  Able to lead project teams and 'virtual' teams if needed.
A full valid driving licence and use of own vehicle.
 
This is a full-time contract position which offers hybrid working.
 
Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role.
