Design Engineer (Security Systems) - Blackburn - Permanent - £40k
Our client; a well-respected national Fire and Security company is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer with some experience in designing electronic security systems. This role would be ideal for an engineer with 3-5 years' experience, looking for their next long-term challenge. If you had a controls and instrumentation background, this could also be suitable.

The Role
 
·System design of integrated electronic security systems (PIDS, CCTV, EAC, IDS, and audio systems) of varying scales.
·Design responsibility and accountability throughout the project life.
·Preparation of documentation and drawings.
·Compliance with technical specifications.
·Generation of acceptance test documentation.
·Review meetings with key stakeholders
·Coordination meetings with external subcontractors within multi-discipline design team.
·Liaison with suppliers
·Review drawings before submission.
·Review equipment schedule outputs e.g. MPS, Activity List, MTO
·Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
·Be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures
