Are you a confident communicator with a passion for helping people? We're currently recruiting a Customer Services Advisor to join a busy, friendly team within a local authority in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to support your community by providing essential frontline services, all while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.


About the Role:
As a Customer Services Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for residents, dealing with a wide range of enquiries over the phone. Your role will be to provide an efficient, friendly, and professional service, resolving as many queries as possible at the first point of contact. You'll also update customer records using internal IT systems and support wider service improvements and campaigns.


This is a part-time role, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 14:00, making it ideal for those looking for a role that fits around other commitments.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Handle incoming telephone enquiries and resolve customer requests efficiently
·Accurately update and maintain electronic customer records
·Manage complaints, compliments, and suggestions in line with council procedures
·Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
·Support team members and contribute to continuous service improvement
·Promote self-service options and other customer initiatives


About You:
You'll need excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience in a contact centre or customer service environment is essential, ideally within a public sector setting. Strong IT skills and a good understanding of customer care principles are also important.
