The Role & Your Impact

·Lead mechanical design for commercial projects across the Manchester and North West area, taking designs from concept to detailed execution.
·Use your expertise in MEP consulting to ensure commercial schemes are energy-efficient, high-performing, and meet industry standards.
·Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and sustainability experts to provide integrated, performance-driven designs.
·Mentor junior engineers, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the improvement of internal engineering standards.
·Manage client relationships, site visits, and specifications, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
 
What You'll Bring

·Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a strong focus on commercial MEP projects in the Manchester market.
·Strong technical skills in mechanical systems design, energy performance, and low-carbon solutions. Familiarity with design tools such as Revit and IES is preferred.
·Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
·Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field), with a clear ambition to progress towards Chartered status (or already Chartered).
·A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for high-quality, sustainable building design.
