Job description

Are you a counter-fraud professional who thrives on uncovering complex fraud and corruption cases?

Do you want to help protect public funds on one of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure programmes?

Salary: £51,037 - £60,043.80
Location: London, 3 days in the office per week. Some travel required (expenses covered)
Deadline: Role closes for applications on the 19th of November.

Join a nationally significant infrastructure organisation at the forefront of counter-fraud strategy in construction. You’ll lead complex investigations into bribery, procurement and supply chain fraud — tackling issues such as ghost workers, false claims and misuse of plant. Working within a dynamic, growing team, you’ll help shape a modern counter-fraud function that’s driving change across the sector.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing complex counter-fraud or bribery investigations.
  • Expertise in evidence gathering using open-source data and internal frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management across joint ventures, contractors and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of government counter-fraud standards and frameworks.
  • Relevant qualification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) or Government Counter Fraud Profession membership.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or public sector investigations.
  • Understanding of commercial or procurement processes (e.g. RICS, QS).
  • Experience reporting lessons learned or process improvements.

If you want your work to make a genuine difference — protecting public money and shaping the future of counter-fraud practice — contact Emily Atkins at Carrington West. Applications close 19th November, with a one-stage interview process held at the end of November and offers early December.
