Role: Commercial Lead/Lead Quantity Surveyor
Location: Greenwich and/or Crossness
Rate: £400 - £450 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 12 months+

An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager with experience in the UK Water industry and / or Civil Engineering to join a client in London.

Working on a major infrastructure projects, your main duties include NEC contract administration, commercial assurance, Early Warning Notices / Change Events and supporting the client with contractual issues throughout the programme of works. Other duties include audits, change management, producing bill of quantities and cost estimates.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £400 - £450 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Travel across 2 key sites in London will be essential - greenwich and Crossness.
 
Working within the UK Water team your main duties include:
 - NEC contract administration and commercial assurance
 - Early Warning Notices / Change Events
 - Supporting the client on contractual issues throughout the project
 - Communicating with the contractor and liaising with stakeholders
 
Previous experience in the UK Water Industry is essential for this role. Carrington West are supporting this client with over £40million worth of work on behalf of Thames Water.
