Job Title: Clerk of Works (Housing) - Central London Borough
Location: Central London
Rate: £33.06 p/h Umbrella
Contract Type: Interim, Full-time (Rolling 3 months)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Clerk of Works (Housing) to join our team and contribute to the success of our housing projects.
 
Role Overview:
As a Clerk of Works (Housing) with RBKC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our housing projects. Working closely with our construction teams, architects, and contractors, you will be responsible for monitoring the construction process to ensure it adheres to relevant standards, regulations, and specifications. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality housing projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
·Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns related to the construction process.
·Maintain detailed records of site activities, inspections, and quality control measures.
·Provide timely and accurate reports to project managers and senior management on the progress and quality of housing projects.
·Identify and report any deviations from the approved plans or specifications.
·Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained on construction sites.
Qualifications and Experience:
·Previous experience as a Clerk of Works or a similar role, with a focus on housing projects.
·Knowledge of relevant building regulations, standards, and construction processes.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
·Relevant construction-related qualifications are desirable.
