Job description

Are you a project manager with experience on the construction of civil engineering structures?

Have you got an in depth understanding of delivering large projects under NEC 3 contracts?

Salary: £71,121.60 to £83,672.40
Location: Old Oak Common, London (minimum 3 days on site, remainder from home)
Deadline for applications: 10th July

I am looking for a skilled Project Manager to support delivery works at Old Oak Common, the UK’s largest new railway station and a flagship infrastructure project. This role will sit within the Old Oak Project Team and focuses on the off-site civil engineering works.

Works are progressing from primary structural stages into complex secondary works and surface-level infrastructure, including bridge realignment and utility diversion packages supporting a 2033 completion goal!

Essential requirements:

  • Background in rail infrastructure, highways, or major civil engineering projects.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects with live operational interfaces.
  • Experience managing utilities diversions, bridge structures, and civil assets in dense urban settings.
  • Knowledge of NEC3 contracts and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Formal PM qualifications (e.g. APMP) are desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of key civil infrastructure packages across the rail environments, including surface transport schemes, utilities diversions, and major structural works such as bridges and under-track crossings.
  • Oversee off-site works including bridge realignments and the replacement of critical rail interface structures.
  • Work closely with contractors on-site, manage interfaces with TfL, Network Rail, and local authorities.
  • Lead on NEC contract management, delivery assurance, and programme milestones.
  • Engage with and support junior team members including Assistant PMs and graduates.

This will be a one stage interview process on Teams.
