Job description

Are you a civil/ structural engineer with extensive experience working on Network Rail schemes?
 
Do you want to work for a consultancy who have excellent career prospects?
 
My client is looking to take on a civil/ structural engineer who has at least +3 years experience of rail design works. They have just relocated to a new office based near Kew Gardens. My client are open to either a contract or permanent candidate.
 
Location: Kew Gardens
 
Salary: £30-£35 per hour LTD or permanent salary depending on experience
 
This will be a varied role which will be covering lineside rail design works but could also cover substation and bridge design. This role will be reporting into the engineering manager and his real career potential as the company grows.
 
My client have a clear path to support chartership and will encourage as much professional development as possible.
 
The ideal candidate will have a driving licence as the role will involve going to site to undertake surveys.
 
PTS would be preferred but not essential.
 
Requirements:
 
·Degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
·Minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in a design consultancy within UK undertaking rail projects
·Knowledge and expertise of design and analysis software.
·High level of computer literacy with familiarity and experience of using software for structural analysis such as Oasys GSA/Tedds/SCIA Excel/AutoCad/Revit/ Microstation
·Uk driving licence
·Ideally valid PTS
