Civil Infrastructure Technician with experience in the development infrastructure sector urgently required in Surrey. Our client provides structural, civil, geotechnical, environmental and transportation engineering design services throughout the UK and overseas.
 
This is a full time contract position for 3-6 months, offering flexible working. The role is neither deemed inside or outside IR35 at this stage, so our client is considering all candidates.
 
Key skills/experience required
 
- Conversant with highway layouts (horizontal and vertical layouts)
- Competent in using AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D
- Understanding of storm and foul water drainage network design
- Preparing project design and assessment calculations, drawings, preparing reports, preparing contract documents
- Compliance with health & safety, environmental and managerial procedures
- A questioning/ challenging approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make correct judgements
- The ability to work and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- A commercial and client focused approach
- Applicants should have a minimum HND in Civil Engineering.
