Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Town Planning to join their team of experts. In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in driving their planning projects to success, fostering client relationships, and contributing to our firm's growth. If you have a passion for urban planning, a deep understanding of UK planning regulations, and a track record of delivering impactful projects, we want to hear from you.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of town planners, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Provide strategic guidance on planning projects, from inception to completion, ensuring they align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and other planning-related documents.
Stay up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and policies, and apply this knowledge to project work.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Town Planning or a related field.
Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience in town planning.
Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and policies.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
