Job description

Do you want to work for an engineering firm with a passion and expertise in the design and delivery of high-quality award-winning buildings, structures, and public space? The company's engineering skills cover both structural and civil, including movement, highways, flood risk, drainage, SuDS and earthworks amongst others.
My client are currently looking for a talented and experienced Associate level Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Manchester or Leeds. The role will involve leading and developing a growing team of engineers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering and the built environment and will have the following qualities:
·Significant experience in the engineering design of both the public realm and new development infrastructure
·Technical design excellence and detailed understanding of relevant approvals processes for highways and drainage design/adoption, including SuDS
·Experience of Microdrainage and Civil 3D is preferable
·Strong verbal and graphical communication skills.
·Knowledge and understanding of the development process from site appraisal through planning and detailed design to construction.
·Experience of managing and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians.
The ideal candidate will be chartered with the ICE.
The current civil and infrastructure engineering projects include the design and delivery of town centre public realm and streetscape schemes, infrastructure and landscape engineering on some of the most exciting large scale mixed use and housing schemes in the UK.
