Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
 
Location: Southeast England
 
Salary: £35,000-£40,000
 
My client are a specialised highways contractor operating within the Southern region of England and within both public and private sectors. Due to recent contract wins and company success, they're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience in the highways sector to join the team.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
·Work within the commercial team
·Maximise contract profit
·Assist with subcontract accounts
·Liaise with the clients and collaborate accordingly
·Compile monthly CVR reports
·Keep accurate records
·Produce monthly forecasts
·Conduct processes of cost analysis
 
Key Requirements of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
·A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
·Working knowledge/experience of the highways sector
·Understanding of NEC Contracts
·Experience working within the highways maintenance field
·Proactive individual
·Good communication skills
·Excellent commercial acumen
·Happy to work within the office in the Essex area
·Full UK Drivers License
