Assistant Project Manager
 
 
Our client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team in Stockport.
 
The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered in a safe and timely manner, including managing, and monitoring financial budgets.
 
Working under supervision, the Assistant Project Manager will have the opportunity to develop their skills in the construction industry and gain skills and knowledge to attain a professional ability to work in specific design tasks.
 
Responsibilities of the role:
 
·To provide high-level technical support and to ensure projects/programmes of work are delivered on time and to budget.
 
·Manage minor projects achieving required outputs with minimal guidance.
 
·Stakeholder management including influencing senior level stakeholders.
 
·Enabling and delivering effective change
 
·To be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
 
·To liaise with others (e.g. IT staff, Admin staff) to ensure all resources are available (e.g. booked and allocated) to ensure that they are able to complete the task.
 
·To follow an agreed and approved accredited training programme. Attend regular reviews with the Training Manager
 
·Provide support to clients. Demonstrating a friendly, patient and helpful approach to clients.
