My client have recently been successful on a number of contracts and therefore have vacancies for assistant / technician Civil Engineers to work in their Hull & Leeds offices. This is to support the senior engineers by undertaking drawing preparation and assisting with designs. The work undertaken by their Civil Engineering department is variable but mainly consists of designing schemes in the following areas:
·Highway design S278 and S38
·Drainage Infrastructure Design S104 details
·Sustainable Drainage Schemes
·Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments
·Flood Alleviation schemes
·Project Management
·Client Liaison
·Cost analysis of schemes
 
Ideally you will be in a similar role supporting senior engineers by providing clear and precise drawings for contractors and clients to use on site. It would be preferable for the applicants to have undertaken an OND/HND in Civil Engineering. Day release could be available for the right person to further enhance their career.

·AutoCAD experience
·3D ground modelling
