My client are a large civil infrastructure company, they work across a wide variety of different industry's within the built environment. They have a state of the art head office in Stevenage,  where the core of their community is based. This is a great place to work and learn about the industries and the company. This role is to join a small team. They work well together and share responsibilities and are looking for someone who would enjoy an environment like this.
 
The team is part of the Power division of the business, they are a hard working team of individuals and are looking for someone with a strong Admin background and good work ethic to join the group.
 
You will be responsible for Admin Support within the team which includes dealing with processing paperwork, supporting others in the team, answering calls, responding to emails, raising and closing contracts, running reports and checking documentation. Other adhoc responsibilities will be required too.
 
The role offers a competitive rate, a long term opportunity, leading to permanent employment. You will need to be able to get to the office in Stevenage. The hours are 9am to 5pm - 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
 
Requirements:
* Accurately raising purchase orders
* Tracking current and historical orders
* Communicating with colleagues, suppliers and internal customers ensuring expectations and are met
* Fielding and responding to enquiries with the support of colleagues and suppliers
* Supplier, internal customer liaison (email, Teams, phone)
* Ensuring orders are fulfilled and allocated correctly
* Document and invoice management
* Managing incoming workload and prioritising based on the business' requirements
 
Requirements:
Previous experience within an administrative role - Essential
* Fast learner and able to adapt quickly
* Good multitasking skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Competent user of Microsoft Office application
