Role: Accounting Assistant
Location: Huntingdon / Home working ( available up to 3 days per week)
Salary Rate: £28-40,000
Working week:  37 hours
Employment: 6 month contact with likely extension / permanent position  
 
My client is looking to expand their accounting team from Huntingdon and have a flexible working from home approach.
 
As an accounts assistant you will be responsible for the below.  Note depending on your experience you will be in volved in some or all of these tasks
 
Monitoring and reporting relating to capital investment which is delivered across over 2000 projects to the value of over 500M. This would also include the associated financial fixed assets ensuring details are recorded to auditable standards.
Production and use of Master data in SAP linking into actuals, plans and budgets
Management of minor capital asset analysis and creation
Supporting the team with HMRC submissions
Involvement with monthly reporting
Completing financial controls
Applying capitalisation policy
 
 
Suitable candidates will have a finance related qualification and or previous accounts based experience.
 
On offer is a salary of £28,000 - £40,000 based on a 37 hours a week
