Job description

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manage to join their Business Development Team in Nottingham.
 
The role purpose is to manage and develop business opportunities in line with the business plan, creating consistency and ensuring quality standards are met for clients and contributing to achieving company financial targets.
 
Main accountabilities:
·Manage and build relationships with new and existing external clients that create business opportunities across all areas to support an ongoing collaborative relationship.
·Manage relationships through project delivery for new and existing clients ensuring delivery meets client's requirements.
·Develop an understanding of clients' requirements through networking and building relationships across the industry.
·Lead on internal collaboration across the business to meet client's requirements within the context of business priorities and capacities to offer a viable commercial solution.
·Lead and review information from across the business to ensure accurate and consistent tender / quotations for services are submitted to external clients within specified deadlines.
·Resolve and negotiate on any significant changes during project delivery with clients to ensure financial targets are met and client satisfaction maintained, whilst balancing future potential business vs short term profitability.
·Develop deep understanding of the services and capabilities to enable promotion of further sales to existing clients and ultimately drive business growth.
·Holds teams across the business to account for delivery to ensure on time, cost and quality targets are met ensuring we fulfil our promises to external clients.
 
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
·Proven experience of Account Management or similar experience in a construction related industry.
·Proven experience of influencing and communicating within internal and external organisations.
·Proven experience of building long term profitable relationships between businesses.
·Knowledge and experience of commercial and financial practice and experience of operating in a commercial role.
·Knowledge of main methods of procurement and forms of contract for provision of services.
