Works Manager
 
Are you an experienced Works Manager?  am recruiting for a Works Manager to join a client in Suffolk.
 
The Works Manager will join a busy Operations department, responsible for the project management and delivery of specific schemes/projects emanating from the client's capital works programme.
 
The type of schemes will include drainage, structures, road surface treatment, footway improvements, gully cleansing, grass cutting, weed treatment and minor works. You will also be responsible and accountable for project managing schemes to ensure tasks relating to delivering design and construction quality, timeliness, risk and commercial are completed in accordance with processes and procedures.
 
What is required for the role:
 
- New Roads Street Works Act (NRSWA) accreditation
- Health and Safety qualification, preferably IOSH or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or demonstrable equivalent training or qualification.
- Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2, MAPM. Or demonstrable experience in a relevant role.
- A minimum HNC/HND qualification in related relevant discipline (relevant to engineering or programme / project management) or equivalent demonstrable experience related to project management and delivery.
