Water Validation Technician

They are currently looking for experienced Validation Technicians or Leakage Technician with experience in Step Testing.

Working in one of the UK's most scenic areas around Oxford, Reading, Swindon etc. This is a great opportunity for someone who has over 2 years of experience leading a Step-testing Gang previously.

The role would be working across TVA on several DMA's to work on step-testing, leakage, and PZT projects for the Client’s water company.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 2 years in a similar role
• Proficiency in interpreting and understanding water network plans and drawings
• Strong knowledge of water network and distribution, including hydraulics
• Ability to comprehend and execute PZT/ZPT procedures
• Experience in meter flow testing
• Proficiency in boundary valve investigations and proving
• Competence in utility tracing
• Experience in correlation survey techniques
• Knowledge and practical experience in pressure/flow monitoring and logging
• Hold Streetworks Unit 2 certification
• Possess an EUSR card
• Familiarity with flow data techniques
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

The role is working a night shift 40hrs per week, 4 x 10-hour shifts, on a contract basis and subject to good performance you will be offered a permanent role after 6 months. Salary of £30,000 per annum, paid weekly.

You will be provided with a van, fuel card and all equipment required. Accommodation for travellers can be arranged.
