Role: Driver /Water Sampler
Salary: £9.50 per hour depending on experience based on a 37 hour week
Location: Wakefield
Essential: UK Drivers license and being based with in 20 mins drive ( max ) of Wakefield
Duration: Fixed term contact until the end of September 
 
My client is a large utilities contractor that is looking for a Water Sampler to cover multiple water treatment sites. All of the work flow is attached to Yorkshire water sites where you will be sampling the water treatment plants, discharge points ( sampling up stream and down stream ) as well as sewers.

As this position offers full training with equipment and technical aspects of the role, no previous experience of water sampling is needed, however it would be advantageous if you have had water sampling, PH water testing, mobile lone working or similar in any capacity.
 
As a result you will spend a lot of time travelling between sites and must be comfortable driving daily to site up to 3 hours away. Once you have been trained you will be working in an individual capacity where your daily plans and workflow will be delivered to you from a tablet / laptop.
 
 
Essential criteria:
Full UK drivers license and be able to park a company van in your area.
Ability to work outdoors
Be comfortable driving in a field based capacity
Ability to use a tablet / laptop
Live in Wakefield 
 
 
On offer is a salary of £9.50 per hour based on a 37 hour week +  PPE, company van and training will all be provided.
