Role: Water Hygiene Manager
Location: Harrow (+ visits to sites around West London)
salary: £42,000 + (depending on experience)
Duration: 12 months + (Most likely to extend or go permanent)
 
Start Date: Late May/Early June
 
Have you got experience in Legionella assessing and the skills that come with it?
Are you looking to add value to an ambitious business growing their Water Hygiene department?
 
I'm working with a growing Water services business based out of harrow who are growing their Water Hygiene base in London. They are looking for a Water hygiene Manager to assist in leading the team and managing the on site water technicians.
 
This will be a role where you will be partially office based working directly with the operations director, with an aim to grow the department further and also work with technicians on site, lead commissioning activities and complete reactive/maintenance repair roles for clients.
 
you will be suitable with the following experience:
 
·producing Water Risk Assessments,
·microbiological samplings of domestic systems
·servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV's)
·Disinfection and cleaning of water storage tanks
 
 
 
you will also have a sound understanding of Building Services and proven experience of working in a similar FM environment.
 
What the role will look like and offer:
 
·up to £42,000 per annum
·Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00
·Company Car
·Mileage/petrol card
·22 days annual leave excluding bank holidays
 
You will also be expected to have people management skills and experience in customer engagement skills to work on the client side to develop business.
 
A strong knowledge and understanding of high-level technical systems alongside your excellent communication and customer service skills will ensure delivery of accountabilities including:
 
·Maintaining and renewing the company's LCA and other trade registrations
·Adhering to the Departmental Procedures and those under the Legionella Control Association - Code of Compliance
·Quoting for remedial works, new tenders, projects.
·Ensure effective and timely management of issues and establish effective incident management
 
 
What we need from you
 
- ACOP L8 (Legionella)
- A relative qualification and/or training in an engineering based competency (e.g. City and Guilds)
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience working in a similar role (tank disinfection, TMV Servicing, Legionella assessing etc.)
