Are you an Intermediate or Senior Utility Surveyor looking for a new opportunity?
I'm working with a multi-discipline surveying company that are looking for experienced Utility Surveyors to join their growing team in the Midlands.
In this role you will be working with an experienced team of surveyors, reporting into a survey manager. Depending on your background and experience, you will be attached to either construction, road/highways, rail, utility, building or water based projects.
In order to be suitable for this role you MUST have a proven track record of surveying. This could be anything from a UK based surveying degree/formal qualification through to practical survey industry experience.
Experience using at least one of the below equipment is essential:
Leica - Total station
Leica - Cyclone
3D Lazer Scanner
GPR - Ground penetrating radar
AutoCAD or Pointcloud
Typically speaking, surveyors will be given their own project to manage where they will be responsible for site surveying - utility, topographical and/or MBS Measured Building Surveyors depending on their experience.
As a result surveyors will operate in a site based capacity which will involve travel and stay away work nationwide. A normal week will include 1 day from the office or working from home to process survey data using AutoCAD.
Salaries are negotiable dependant on skills and experience between:
£26,000 - £35,000 + benefits + overtime + package. You will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card. Some staying away will be required but not often.
