Are you a Sustainable Transport professional looking for a new challenge?
 
Our client is an ambitious local authority who are seeking a Travel and Transport Planner with experience in sustainable transport and enthusiasm about changing travel behavior.
 
Your key responsibilities:
 
·Develop and implement the council's strategic approach to sustainable transport and active transport in line with the Sustainability Plan objectives in the context of delivering walking, cycling and public transport targets for some of our largest new developments.
 
·Delivering Travel Plan actions to achieve this through working with developers and housebuilders, alongside other Council colleagues and contractor to minimise impact on our transport network and facilitate modal shift to more sustainable transport and active travel.
 
·Responsible for managing the delivery budget and reporting n and communicating progress towards achieving these targets.
 
What is required?
 
·As the successful candidate, you will have experience in sustainable transport schemes and great stakeholder management skills.
