My client is offering the opportunity for you to work on a wide range of development planning projects across the Northwest, giving you real responsibility, technical exposure and clear progression from the outset.
 
This Transport Planner role is ideal if you are keen to build on your consultancy experience, take ownership of your work and expand your client-facing skills.
 
My client is a respected transport planning consultancy with a strong pipeline of residential, commercial and mixed-use development projects. Their Manchester office is continuing to grow, and this Transport Planner position will see you playing an important part in delivering high-quality technical advice to clients nationwide.
 
In this Transport Planner role, you will be:
·Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
·Undertaking junction modelling and transport analysis
·Supporting senior team members on larger development projects
·Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
·Attending client and design team meetings
·Assisting with technical reports and project documentation
·As a Transport Planner, you will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle while strengthening your technical capability.
 
To be successful in this Transport Planner role, you will demonstrate:
·Experience within a transport planning or development planning consultancy
·Knowledge of Transport Assessments and relevant modelling software
·Strong analytical and report-writing skills
·Good communication skills and confidence working within a team
·A proactive approach to learning and professional development
·Progress towards a professional qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
 
Salary for this Transport Planner role is £35,000-£42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
