Job role- Transport Planner

Our client is looking for a Transport Planner with consultancy experience to join their team in Leeds.
Providing highways, traffic and transport consultancy and highway design services to a broad range of public and private sector clients across a number of sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, education and renewable energy.

The position offers the successful candidate to take an active role in the management and future direction of the business, offering a great long-term opportunity to an ambitious individual.

Primary Job Skills
·Strong background in development planning and liaising with clients and Highway Authorities
·Production of transport assessments, statements & travel plans
·Experienced in master planning & feasibility
·Comfortable taking lead in the delivery of projects
·Supervising, mentoring and guiding junior members of the team
·Supporting with the development of existing clients
·Contributing to the growth of business with development of new clients and opportunities

Desirable Skills
·Highway Design (s278 / S38 design)
·Proficiency with Arcady, Picady & LinSig
·AutoCAD
·Degree qualification
