Transport Planner

You'll be part of a growing and dynamic transport planning team, working in a modern office with excellent links to major rail stations, the metro, and local bus routes. What you'll be doing
As a Transport Planner, you'll contribute to the delivery of innovative transport solutions for a wide range of development projects. You'll:
·Prepare detailed Transport Notes, Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans, and Site Access Appraisals.
·Apply your knowledge of local and national transport policy and guidance to support planning applications.
·Use Junctions software (ARCADY and PICADY) to undertake technical assessments.
·Develop preliminary designs for access, junction improvements, and highways schemes using AutoCAD.
·Create professional graphics and presentation materials using GIS packages or Corel Draw.
·Get involved in project management activities and client communications, building trusted relationships.
What you'll bring
To succeed as a Transport Planner, you'll need:
·Proven experience in development transport planning.
·A degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Transport Planning.
·Accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
·A commitment to professional growth - ideally as a member (or aspiring member) of CIHT, ICE, or a similar body.
