Transport Lead

What You'll Be Doing:

·Leading the development of a compelling case for enhanced transport connectivity across the sub-region.
·Collaborating closely with key stakeholders in transport, housing, and growth to align strategic priorities.
·Contributing to and helping publish vital documents that highlight the transformative role of transport in regional development.
·Developing and taking forward a long-term Strategic Transport Plan to underpin future investment and policy decisions.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
·A strategic mindset and the ability to assess transport issues in a broader policy and regional growth context.
·Demonstrable experience in leading transport projects, developing policy positions, and producing high-quality, evidence-based reports using transport data.
·Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and external partners.
·A proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to work independently and drive forward regional transport initiatives.
