Are you an experienced Commercial Manager looking to lead multi-million-pound infrastructure projects? Our client is delivering some of the country's most ambitious civil engineering and construction schemes, and we're looking for a commercial leader like you to help drive our success.
The Role
As a Commercial Manager, you'll take ownership of the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement to project close, ensuring value, quality, and client satisfaction every step of the way. You'll:
·Lead all commercial and financial aspects of major infrastructure projects
·Inspire and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals
·Manage contracts, procurement, and key supply chain relationships
·Produce accurate commercial reporting and cost-value reconciliations
·Work closely with clients and stakeholders to mitigate risk and resolve disputes
·Champion governance, innovation, and best commercial practice
·Drive digital integration and value engineering opportunities
What We're Looking For
You're a driven, strategic, and people-focused Commercial Manager who thrives in complex environments. You know how to balance risk and opportunity, lead with confidence, and build strong relationships that unlock results.
You'll need:
·A BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
·Chartered membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards)
·Proven experience leading commercial teams on major infrastructure projects
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
·A passion for developing others and championing high performance
