Tester in charge (TIC)
 
Are you an experienced TIC looking for a new role within the rail industry? My client is currently looking for a TIC to support them on their recent projects.  
 
This is a great opportunity for any successful candidate to be involved in a long-term project due to my client's recent project wins.  
 
Start date: ASAP
 
Day rate: £600-700 a day, depending on experience.
 
Location: Southampton and London
 
Requirements:
 
- A valid PTS
- Experience in working on cable route works with signalling experience
- Experience working within telecoms
 
Day to day duties:
 
Forecast resources for project works to Work Package Owner
Manage and motivate allocated testing staff effectively
Effectively attend and onward brief team briefing in technical documents, company safety briefings and alerts
Carry out risk assessments for planned works
Produce testing documentation to NR and project requirements and standards
Produce site project documentation in a timely manner to deliver programmed works
