Due to an increased workload, A Temporary Works Design Engineer is required to join this well established buildings design consultancy based in Coventry. This is an urgent requirement therefore, an immediate start is possible.

The company are an established and successful consultancy working within the buildings sector. The company cover both permanent and temporary works designs across various building sectors for both new build and refurbishment projects.
 
Role & Responsibilities
The position requires an analytically minded person from a technical background, who ideally has experience in both permanent and temporary works designs within the UK buildings market.
 
Projects vary in scope and scale from smaller schemes to £50 million pound projects in sectors that include commercial, education, industrial, healthcare and residential.
 
 
Requirements
BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering (Min 2:1)
Working towards chartership with ICE / IStructE
Min 2 - 4 years' relevant experience
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in the design of temporary works that includes some the following:
·Foundations
·Crane bases
·Retaining structures
·Slope stabilisation
·Façade retention
·Demolition Works
·Propping
