Reporting to the Head of Temporary Works, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Works Design Engineer who will be instrumental in the strategic growth of an ambitious design team based in north London.

Role & Responsibilities
The position requires an analytically minded person from a technical background, who is keen to progress in their career, growing technically and professionally together with the company.
 
You will be involved with both the design and development of structural schemes for Temporary Works for both structural and geotechnical design. This involves the analysis of structures using advanced techniques and software, including FEM analysis for assessment and production of drawings and schemes.  
 
 
Requirements
BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering
Working towards chartership with ICE / IStructE
Min 1 - 2 years' experience
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in the design of temporary works that includes some the following:
·Foundations
·Crane bases
·Retaining structures
·Slope stabilisation
·Façade retention
·Demolition Works
