As the Technical Parking Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving both regional success and business expansion.
Your Impact
This role empowers you to take full accountability for the Parking and Kerbside Management discipline, leading from the front on both delivery and growth. You will be at the heart of driving the strategy that shapes the future of the parking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
·Leadership & Team Development: Lead and inspire multiple technical teams and senior managers, ensuring delivery of high-quality parking design and policy services.
·Business Development: Drive new business initiatives, securing major projects, and expanding key client accounts.
·Strategic Direction: Set and execute the strategic vision for the Parking and Kerbside Management service, driving its success across the region.
·Financial Performance: Take ownership of financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, WIP control, and meeting account targets.
·Client Relationships: Build and nurture senior-level client relationships, influencing key stakeholders and negotiating at the highest levels.
·Team Recruitment & Mentorship: Recruit, develop, and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
·Technical Leadership: Champion technical excellence and governance across complex and high-value projects, ensuring best practice at every stage.
·Industry Relationships: Maintain strong industry ties with key stakeholders, including government bodies and sector organisations.
About You
You're an experienced and commercially-minded leader with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of successfully delivering and growing services in the parking sector. You excel in leading teams and driving change, and are passionate about shaping the future of urban mobility.
Essential Experience:
·Extensive experience in parking design and policy, with a strong background in working with or within local authorities.
·Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-value projects.
·A track record of winning new work and growing client accounts.
·Strong financial management skills, including budgets, revenue growth, and performance targets.
·Experience at senior leadership or board level, influencing at the highest levels.
·Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Desirable Experience:
·Consultancy experience, ideally with a focus on urban mobility solutions.
·Chartered status or equivalent professional experience.
