As a result of a continued increase in workloads, an excellent opportunity has arisen in the South East for an experienced Highways Surfacing Supervisor, to join our client on a permanent basis.
 
Candidates must be familiar of working with blacktop in a similar role on as well as being SSSTS accredited however SMSTS is highly desirable. The Ideal candidate must have worked their way through from Labourer to Supervisor and have a sound working knowledge of Tarmac, having worked hands on with it.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
·Initial site meetings with clients to assess works and review operational health & safety plans
·Supervision of direct and sub-contract labour working on asphalt surfacing schemes
·Management of site health & safety
·Management of materials and waste
·Planning, procurement and coordination of labour, materials, and plant
