Role: Sub Agent
Location:Chorley
Duration:On-going (ideally temp to perm inside IR35)
Pay:Day rate and / or salary to be discussed.
 
Are you a driven and focussed Sub Agent with experience in the water sector or Heavy civils infastructure environment and based in the North West?
 
The role we are looking to immediately place is for is a Sub-Agent on a inside IR35 contract or permanent basis:
 
The project in brief is being undertaken to capture all spill flows from CSO CHR0021 (to the River Douglas) up to the critical 1 in 30-year storm event by construction of a new off-line detention tank with a storage volume of 2,500m³.
 
Key credentials:
§CSCS / SSSTS / SMSTS
§Temporary Works Co-ordination (TWC)
§Preferred but not essential Appointed Persons (AP)
§Ideally Confined Space trained
 
Key Skills:
§Set personal example in health, safety and environmental matters by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
§Adopt and promote a cost-conscious attitude through efficient use of company resources.  Communicate with commercial staff to ensure all records for measurement and payment purposes are prepared promptly, in appropriate form.
§Support the Project Manager as required in the production of short term programmes, financial forecasting and regularly review the performance of subcontractors
§Liaise with the Project Manager and General Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
§Produce detailed method statements, risk assessments (RAMS) and approval of subcontractors RAMS.
§Proven Temp. Works Co-ordination (TWC), managing temporary works design schemes ensuring full approval and implementation on site. 
§Responsible for identifying and resolving problems arising from technical site issues.
§Co-ordinate, manage and monitor subcontractors and directly employed team in the performance of their works to ensure they are completed to the required standard and to programme.
§Quality driven and able to produce and work to ITP's.
§Chair weekly progress meetings with subcontractors.
§Manage, supervise and mentor site engineers to ensure high levels of engineering control and generation of appropriate records.
§Experience in FRC works, Pipelines, Earthworks, M&E interface appreciation.
