Role: Structural Engineer - Water Retaining Structures
Location: UK Wide remote/Hybrid
Rate: £400 p/d - Inside IR35
Duration: 12 Months

A new opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a forward thinking consultancy with work in multiple environmental projects across the country.

The company are a large, professional design and advisory consultancy with offices up and down the country. They are continuously investing in their people and provide a great working environment to thrive and succeed.  

Role & Responsibilities
 
The role will see the Senior Engineer take detailed design from concept to completion. Projects are medium to large scale covering new build and expansion projects, primarily for water retaining structures linked to Water Utility companies for the use of serving the public.
 
The role will require experience of designing in a range of materials, as well as the design of water retaining structures

The position will be working alongside engineers nationwide and the end clients in order to complete hundreds of millions worth of work.

Requirements

BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered Member of ICE/IStructE or working towards chartered status.
Resolve issues concerning conflicting design requirements
Liaise with clients
Ability to deliver projects through to completion, and work within a multidisciplinary
consultancy
Sound technical skills and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
