Graduate Transport Planner
Location: Bristol
Are you a passionate and motivated graduate with a keen interest in transport planning? We're looking for a Graduate Transport Planner to join a friendly, expert team delivering highquality transport and traffic consultancy services across the UK.
About the Role
You'll be joining a specialist transport consultancy that works on a wide range of projects - from transport assessments and travel plans to vehicle tracking, traffic regulation orders and highway layout design. As a Graduate Transport Planner you will work alongside experienced planners and engineers supporting technical workstreams from feasibility and planning through to implementation and approval.
Key Responsibilities
·Assist with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and related transport planning reports.
·Support travel planning and sustainable transport strategy development.
·Undertake data analysis and assist with modelling/study work.
·Attend client meetings and collaborate with technical teams.
·Learn and develop using industry software (e.g., swept path/vehicle tracking tools).
·Contribute to project delivery from preapplication through to postplanning stages.
What We're Looking For
·A degree (BSc/MSc) in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Sustainable Transport or related discipline.
·A genuine interest in transport planning and highways design.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to work effectively within a team and willingness to learn.
