An opportunity has arisen for a Permitting Officer / Coordinator with experience in Highways and Streetworks to join a client in London. You will be responsible for the coordination and the monitoring of street and road works in accordance with the NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act in order to minimise inconvenience and disruption as well as monitoring inspections across the area and liaising with statutory undertakers.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer £24 - £26 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working / working from home arrangements are available.
 
Main duties include:
·Coordination and monitoring of road and street works on the public highway
·Issuing permits to contractors and liaising with statutory undertakers
·Ensuring works on the highways comply with the NRSWA 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 as well as the London Permit Scheme
·Monitoring inspection works carried out across the area
