Job Role - Stores Operator
 
Location - Thurso 100%
 
Contract Length - 12 Months
 
Pay Rate - £15.17 an hour PAYE/£20.61 an hour Umbrella

Day - to - Day responsibilities include:
·Escort deliveries
·Maintain, issue, and monitor stocks including stocktaking and gas cylinders
·Operate within the required safety management systems for example Standard Operating Procedure, SSOW and Permit To Work.
·Interface with customers to answer questions.
·Operate ancillary equipment such as forklift trucks and LGV's and other goods vehicles.
·Undertake general housekeeping and cleanliness.
·Perform the responsibilities of management appointments relevant to the post.
·RIC Bay - accept deliveries, scan and put into cages for delivery and delivery of these items
·Forklift deliveries when required
·Bulk item for Stores to be delivered to Stores binned area
·Fuel pumps - checking withdrawals and checking stock
·General house keeping
·Assisting all other Logistic areas as and when required.
 
Minimum Requirements
·Full/Clean Driving License
·Warehouse/large store experience
·Basic IT Skills
·Trailer license (Advantageous)
·Forklift license (Advantageous)
 
This role will require the candidate to be SC cleared but BPSS will be good enough to get on site and start so BPSS clearance or higher is very advantageous.
